PSL finally came to an end. These past two months were both intense and exciting for all cricket freaks. Like every year, this year’s PSL was unexpected. With our breaths on hold and our jaw-dropping, PSL 2024 was no less than a ride. But these five PSL stars stood off amidst this wonderful ride of two months. These five PSL stars were just above the game, their techniques, and their performance have garnered massive appreciation. These are the top five PSL stars who have made a case for themselves in the T20 World Cup. Here is a list of five PSL stars.
1. Imad Wasim: Five PSL Stars

If there was one player that stood out in this year’s PSL, then it has to be Imad Wasim. Imad Wasim was the star of the show, making him number one on our list of top five PSL stars. Though he retired from international cricket, it is rare to ignore a talent like him. His effective all-around showings this tournament were a sight for sore eyes. So many of us went back to the time to the time when he opened the bowling for the T20I series in a row.
Imad was undoubtedly one of the core team members from United who held the entire team. One of the many reasons why United won is also because of Imad.
2. Haider Ali

Another one on our list of top five PSL stars for this year is Haider Ali. We were as shocked as most of you to see Haider’s comeback and man what a comeback that was! Haider was previously seen to have regressed low scores, but it was this year’s PSL that changed the game for him.
Earlier Haider was not picked by PCB because of the paucity of lower-order hitters at United, he was deployed there, but this young champ has improved.
3. Mehran Mumtaz

The third one on our list of top five PSL stars has to be Mehran Mumtaz. Mehran is no less than a magician. Someone with great technique. He wasn’t seen a lot in this year’s PSL but when he was, he was just so incredible. He was someone who would come and would conquer. Though many would argue whether five games in which he played are enough or not, in our eyes, he is the star therefore, making him to to be of the top 5 PSL stars from this season.
4. Abrar Ahmed

Making it fourth on our list of top 5 PSL stars it has to be Abrar Ahmed. Abrar was a breakthrough. Previously, he suffered major injuries but it was only this year that he made a comeback and again, we all were shaken. Abrar’s comeback was the kind of comeback that we wish to see every time. He was viewed as Pakistan’s frontline spinner for the tour of Australia before a pinched nerve in his right leg ruled him out, but it was this year he demonstrated his T20 nous that has not quite deserted him. He was one of the core members of Quetta Gladiators.
5. Usman Khan

Last but not least, we have to end our list of top five PSL stars with Usman Khan. Although he changed his affiliation to UAE he’s still got 14 months to qualify for UAE. Although, we have seen him not being very serious about playing in the team to let go of such a good player from the team would be PCB’s biggest loss. What do you think?
