Hasan Ali, a speed bowler with the Karachi Kings, became the second bowler in PSL to Hassan Ali Take 100 Wickets. On Wednesday, Karachi Kings Pacer Hassan Ali achieved a massive milestone in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 after he dismissed Alex Hales in the match where Islamabad United dominated Karachi Kings at the National Bank Arena.Hassan Ali, a player for the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9, reached a significant milestone on Wednesday when he got rid of Alex Hales during Islamabad United’s dominance over Karachi Kings at the National Bank Arena. The right-handed pacer achieved the historic feat when he dismissed Alex Hales during his side’s clash against Islamabad United in the ongoing PSL season 9.
Prior to him, Peshawar Zalmi’s Wahab Riaz was the first player to breach the Hassan Ali take 100 wickets mark in the PSL history. He is currently the highest wicket-taker in the league’s history with 113 wickets.
Hassan Ali take 100 wickets is closing on the record for the most wickets in PSL history, followed by Lahore Qalandars’ captain Shaheen Afridi, who has taken 98 wickets so far.
For the unversed, Hasan Ali joined Karachi Kings ahead of the PSL 9 Draft courtesy of the trade deal with Islamabad United, involving Imad Wasim.
Karachi Kings will face Quetta Gladiators tonight in their fifth match in the ongoing PSL 9 after losing to Islamabad United yesterday.
Islamabad United’s Colin Munro scored a quickfire 82 after a combined bowling effort to lead their team to a seven-wicket victory over Karachi Kings at National Bank Stadium.
The only player on the list of all-time PSL greats who has taken the most wickets in the competition is Wahab Riaz, who has 113 more than the popular fast bowler Hassan Ali take 100 wickets from Pakistan. Members of the premier bowling club include the likes of Islamabad and Lahore Qalandars’ Shaheen Shah Afridi. Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf, two united players, among other well-known figures.
The Pakistani pacer, who has played in the PSL for Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi, is in his maiden season with Kings. The bowler was unplayable throughout the league’s first four seasons, claiming more than ten wickets in each season prior to 2020. He claimed 25 scalps in the 2019 PSL Hassan Ali take 100 wickets. In the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, he was the bowler who won the match, taking 13 wickets and n Ali take 100 wickets claiming man of the tournament after his man of the match performance against India.
The elite club of bowlers includes the likes of Shaheen Shah Afridi from Lahore Qalandars and the Islamabad United duo Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf along with other notable names.
This is the Pakistani pacer’s first season with Kings and he has previously represented Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United in the PSL.
The pacer took 25 scalps in the PSL of 2019 and was unplayable in the first four seasons of the league taking more than 10 wickets in each season before 2020.In 2017 he emerged as a match-winning bowler in the ICC Champions Trophy, a competition in which he took 13 wickets and Hassan Ali take 100 wickets also won man of the tournament award after that man of the match performance against India. He is one of the lethal bowlers for Karachi Kings this season and the men in blue will need him to fire to get a win against Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Arena tonight.
He is one of the Karachi Kings’ most deadly bowlers this season, therefore the guys in blue will need him to step up to triumph against the Quetta Gladiators this evening at the National Bank Arena.
