When we talk about Suriya Bibi then it is important to remember her background. Suriya Bibi hails from Chitral. Suriya Bibi who is 40, made it to the KP assembly after winning Chitral’s PK-1 seat. Furthermore, she became the first elected woman on a general seat in Chitral history after securing 18,914 votes against the Jamiat Ulema-e-islam-Fazal’s (JUIF) Shakeel Ahmed, who lost with 10,533 votes.
