1. Sadqay Topping All The Charts

Recently, a new song came out which has been taking Instagram stories and reels lately. The song is composed by Ashir Wajahat and also sung by him along with Nahel Naseem and NAYEL who are some other young Pakistani musicians.

These young Pakistani artists have made all of us dance to this song which is full of beats, a song which talks about love but has all the right beats and vocals. Another very popular Pakistani artist is Kaifi Khalil and yes, we are all obsessed!

Kaifi Khalil became supremely famous for his song “Kana Yari” at Coke Studio but it was actually “Kahani Suno” which changed everything for him. There was no doubt that this song was literally ruling the charts for a very long time. It was a song that was sung by Baloch singers and to hear Balochi sung so beautifully was a treat in itself.

Kahani Suno was such a huge hit, that it topped all the charts not just in Pakistan but in India as well. It was a song that united both nations. We saw so many people having this song in their Whatsapp status.

3. Pasoori Fever

And how can we forget the Pasoori fever??

It was mid-April, a hustling bustling April filled with work and that’s when Pasoori entered. Passori instantly became a hit. It was released by Coke Studio Pakistan and two Pakistani artists emerged globally. Pasoori was more than just a sensation. It is a rarity to see this kind of fever everywhere. It was something that took over social media. From Bollywood to Hollywood, everybody was talking about it.

Ali Sethi and Shae Gill who sang the song became an overnight success. These two Pakistani artists were praised all over the world.

4. Grammy Winner

Arooj Aftab became the first Pakistani artist to win a Grammy.
