Bakra Eid And The Overdose Of Meat
As of our latest reports, we are reporting that many hospitals are seeing Hospital Visits Spikes post-Eid. This includes Lahore where almost 1200 people in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa needed medical emergency help due to overeating as the nation celebrated the festival with heavy feasts.
During Eid-ul-Adha we saw more than 1200 people who were admitted to the hospital in the country’s most popular region of Punjab and northeastern region of KPK.
Reports suggest that over 600 cases of gastroenteritis were reported in Peshawar on the second day of Eid which medics relate to and suggest that it is due to the overeating of meat and excessive consumption of meat.
Several hundred people were rushed to the hospital with diarrhoea, and abdominal pain, cases of constipation. Lahore Jinnah Hospital treated over 130 people in one day and many people were bought because of such cases. In the services hospital and Ganga Hospital, there were cases of 100 patients.
Thousands Of Patients Reach Hospital Visits Spikes In Karachi
While many in Karachi were busy celebrating Eid, many people went to Hospital Visits Spikes where the hospitals were overcrowded during the three days of Eid festivities. Around 3000 patients were admitted to the hospital and emergency ward of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Hospital (JPMC) during the first three days of the Eid festivities. Many patients complained of vomiting, constipation diarrhoea and other gastric issues.
