Decoding The Finale Of ” Mein “
Recently, a very famous drama ” Mein ” finalised its last episode. The drama ” mein ” itself was very famous and was quite a big deal. It was hyped up because of two major superstars who were seen on the screen for the first time, Ayeza Khan and Wahaj Ali.
As the drama ” Mein ” started, it was anticipated to be huge and many fans held high hopes for the drama. It was later when everybody started questioning the very storyline of the film. With time it became dreary and boring. Many lost interest and many started questioning most of its characters. Here is a breakdown of what happened and why we think that there was more to the last episode of ” Mein “.
Mubashira: The Chronic Narcissist
Mubashira Jaffir was played by the very talented Ayeza Khan. The character was initially portrayed as a rich spoilt brat who loves asserting others. She is not just assertive, but arrogant. She has a very rough treatment of her husband and others.
This leads to the end of her marriage which is bad for her status and so-called reputation. She is seen to struggle a lot with her anger issues. Ayeza Khan has never played a role this disoriented and wild, and honestly, if you ask here, she has done a great job in portraying the character.
As the drama moves forward, we see how Mubashira is fighting with others and how she is almost ready to marry again since she wants to regain her lost reputation. She then proceeds to marry Zaid who also comes from a very affluent and well-settled family.
He has no intention or interest in marrying her, but eventually has to after he is constantly pressurized and forced by his family.
The story then moves forward as both of them are seen fighting and you can see the tension between them.
Zaid: The Naakam Ashiq
Zaid on the other hand, is played by the very famous Wahaj Ali another very important character of the show.
He is young, and handsome and is interested in a girl named Ayra who is played by Azekah Daniel. He is interested in her and makes sure that his father knows that. His father is totally against this marriage and hence coerces the family of the girl to give up.
Zaid’s father is an affluent businessman and with his connections makes the life of the girl hell. Ayra’s brother then passes away because of a heart attack.
The story then continues when Zaid is seen taking revenge on his father and Mubashira and blames both of them, for the the death of Ayra’s brother.
Confusing Plot: Mein
As the drama ” Mein “ proceeds you see the confusing plot of the drama.
At times as a viewer, you are seen been very confused. There are instances where the story doesn’t move on. The characters are seen to have no development whatsoever. Mubashira is seen fighting with Zaid all the time and at times it feels like she isn’t ready to solve her arrogance and anger issues.
It was midway for us when we felt the story ” Mein “ to be a bit more dreary and dry.
The Unexpected Ending
The story moves on as Zaid marries for the second time with his lover, Ayra. Mubashira seems fine she wants to save her marriage. She agrees to her husband’s second marriage as a compromise.
This was something that we didn’t expect, the shift in Mubashira’s attitude was unprecedented but her motives and intentions are still unchanged.
After the many fights, we see how Zaid couldn’t manage two of his wives with a father who was way too controlling.
In the end, we see that all of them are separated and living their own life with a clear message that one must work on his or her “mind” and think about everyone.
Our Opinion
We were definitely, like many others hoping for a better ending. So many are upset and wish there was a much better ending of drama ” mein ” along with a message that however is very important.
But again, that’s just our opinion, let us know what you think.
