Atif Aslam- The Beginning
Now if you are someone who has lived in the 2000’s era or what do they call it? oh yes GEN Z, then there is no way that you aren’t familiar with this name.

He then separated his path and started singing solo. Once his solo career began, he was over the roof. He became immensely popular with his songs. His first solo debut album also garnered a lot of attention and that’s where a star was born.
From Pakistan To Bollywood:
It was soon that his songs were played in cars, clubs and parties.
Soon after his popularity, he was approached by Bollywood. Bollywood was immensely impressed by Atif. This young boy was able to create waves in the industry and Bollywood directors and producers soon approached him.
The first song that he recorded for Bollywood was “pehli nazar” for the movie “Race” and he also recorded for another movie which was “Kismat Konnection”
It was the 2009 film “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” that took things up for him. His songs became widely popular among Indians, where he garnered massive respect and popularity.
He also collaborated with Indian singers and producers. For years he was a force in Bollywood. His songs were always trending and a whole generation related to him.
But unfortunately, things had a very different turn for him.
The Pakistani Artists Ban
The Pakistani artist’s ban wasn’t unprecedented.
The ban on Pakistani artists meant that they were no longer allowed to perform or work in Bollywood anymore. This included many artists like Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam. These were some of the most prominent names.
The sudden ban was something that most anticipated. This ban was due to a certain segment of people who supported the right-wing ideology and didn’t like Pakistani artists.
