Sonakshi Sinha ties the knot with Zaheer iqbal

Sonakshi Sinha has been closely associated with Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’s Fareedan for the better part of 2024, but this past weekend, the Indian star made headlines for the cutest of reasons. Sonakshi Sinha surprised her friends and followers on Instagram by sharing a picture from her private nuptials, in which she sealed the knot with her true love, fellow actor Zaheer Iqbal.
“On this exact day, seven years ago (23.06.2017), in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it,” a smiling Sonakshi, with the signature beaming smile of a newlywed bride, captioned a stunning photo of herself.
“Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife,” the ecstatic bride continued, marking the event with a picture of her devoted spouse kissing her hand.
“Here’s to love, hope, and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever,” Sonakshi said as she concluded her description for a series of candid images in which she smiled with her husband, who was dressed in an ivory suit.

The couple made their connection public, which had reportedly been meticulously kept under wraps, according to Indian media, when Zaheer shared the identical photo on his personal Instagram account. The Raazi actor posted a photo of their civil wedding to her Instagram Story along with the message, “Congratulations Sona and Zaheer! You exude such joy and love! Following their private wedding, the Hindustan Times revealed that the newlyweds expanded their social media following with an evening celebration at Mumbai’s celebrity-favorite restaurant Bastian, which was attended by a who’s who of Bollywood.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan avoided interacting with the throng as he arrived at the wedding celebration under strict security, looking dapper in an all-black outfit. Naturally, Sonakshi Sinha Heeramandi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, along with fellow actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Meezaan Jafri, were essential to the success of her wedding event.

Together, Sonakshi and Zaheer produced the 2022 motion picture Double XL.
